Compression and Localized Thermal Therapy Device with DVT Prophylaxis
The VascuTherm3 delivers a totally unique and proprietary thermal compression therapy solution in one easily transportable device. Solid-state technology eliminates the need for ice, offers precise temperature control for preventing thermal tissue damage, and delivers exceptional reliability. The VascuTherm3 offers highly effective DVT prophylaxis through unique and programmable multiple treatment modalities - combining heating/cooling temperature management with vascular compression.
The VascuTherm 3 is designed to enhance blood flow by providing targeted sequential compression of the foot followed by the calf using a rapid inflation/deflation pressure pulse. The compression cycle initiates with a quick compression of the popliteal space of the foot to 120mmHg within one second, then a sequential compression of the calf to 120mmHg within two seconds. Following the compression phase, the wraps are deflated rapidly and held at rest for a period of sixteen seconds. The cycle is repeated three times per minute.
